It was just like Christmas at our house on Friday and Phil was a kid discovering what Santa had left. He brought home 2 cases of wine from work that we bought on the Amgis Stock Club trip to the wine country. He immediately starting unpacking the bottles. I had an important email I had to get out, but couldn’t concentrate to write it. As he pulled out a bottle he described what it was, what winery it was from, what we tasted, what we ate at that winery (who he sat by), who owned the winery, how long before we could serve it, etc, etc., etc. This went on for about an hour or so as we relived the memories of the trip. Needless to say, we had a great time. GOTVE did a fantastic job organizing and picking just the right wineries. The food was wonderful too. THANK YOU!”

We attended a destination family wedding in Napa Valley. A wine tasting and lunch for about 50 people was planned at a beautiful winery overlooking hillsides and vineyards. The winemaker and our guide helped the novices in the group understand how to smell, swirl, sip, and taste the various flavors of the wines. We enjoyed the experience so much that we inquired who organized the event. When we found out Grapes on the Vine Events was responsible, we decided to use them for future trips and events in the California wine country. We have always been very pleased in what they planned for us and their attention to detail.

We asked Grapes on the Vine Events to organize a celebration trip to the wine country since it was the first time most of us had been to the area. They talked to us to carefully understand our specific needs and interests; then every detail was planned for us including: transportation, lodging at a beautiful boutique hotel, restaurants, picnics, and winery visits specifically tailored for us. We met some special winemakers, visited some large well-known and very small wineries, and even attended a unique day-long event in the Stags Leap District. It was a trip and experience we will all remember for many years to come. If we had tried to plan this ourselves or signed up for a “cookie cutter” tour, we would have wasted a lot of time, money, and energy and not had the unique lifetime experience Grapes on the Vine Events provided. After traveling all over the country for business and participating in incentive trips throughout my professional years, I realized that we had never been to Sonoma County’s wine country. Having heard from many friends and business associates how beautiful Napa and Sonoma County are, and how both locations were fast becoming “hot” destinations for personal and business trips, I decided it was time for a visit. We had heard good things about Grapes on the Vine Events and decided to retain them to plan and manage our trip to the Healdsburg area for our group. They exceeded our expectations! Grapes on the Vine Events designed a trip around the wine knowledge of our participants. They made sure those with little wine exposure were as comfortable as the more sophisticated attendees by providing some educational experiences along the way and “fun” activities that increased everyone’s awareness and appreciation of what we were tasting. Grapes on the Vine Events arranged for us to visit famous name wineries as well as very small, family owned ones where we met with the owner/winemakers and heard their interesting stories. From picnics on winery properties, gourmet meals in some of the area’s finest restaurants as well as private dinners at wineries, Grapes on the Vine Events provided us with varied and delicious culinary experiences. The hotel they arranged was perfect for the type of group we had, and it was nice to be picked up at the airport and transported everywhere we went over the 4 days we were there. All the details were handled for us, and what we really appreciated was one of the principals was always present to make sure everything went according to plan. We would definitely use Grapes on the Vine Events for any future trips and meetings we would hold in the wine country.
